LOCATION: The
office entrance is to the right side of the garage door at 1063 Plymouth Avenue. Please
ring the doorbell of the ground floor entrance on arrival. 1063 Plymouth
is one and one-third block south of Ocean Avenue on the west side of the
street. The house is recognizable by the large tree and hedge in front. The blue entrance door is next to the hedge on the ground floor. You will not need to climb any stairs to the entrance to the home.
DIRECTIONS:
From the East Bay: Take
101 South from the Bay Bridge. Exit onto 280-Daly City one exit after the Cesar Chavez exit. Continue
south and take the Ocean/Geneva exit. Bear right and follow Ocean
Ave. past City College. You will see McDonalds on
your left (do not eat there!). Turn left at the stop light at Plymouth
Ave. which is at the far end of McDonalds' parking lot.
From Marin: Take the 19th
Avenue exit from the Golden Gate Bridge. You will be on 10th Ave.
heading south for several miles. The first left turn lane on 19th
is at Sloat Blvd. Turn left
onto Sloat and get over in the right hand lane. At the first stoplight you will
make a right from the right turn only lane onto Junipero Serra. Get into the
left hand lanes for a left turn at the next light onto Ocean Ave. Continue east on Ocean and make a right onto Plymouth Ave.
From the Peninsula: If you take 101 north I suggest you
cut over on 380 to take 280 into the City. Come into San
Francisco on 280. Stay in the left hand lanes as the road
splits into Highway 1 north and 280 Downtown. When you are past the split you
need to be in the right hand lanes in order to go straight ahead onto Junipero Serra.
Turn right from Junipero Serra onto Holloway at the first stop light. Plymouth
is past eight stop signs. Turn right onto Plymouth
from Holloway at the ninth stop sign.
PARKING: There
is ample street parking around the office on Plymouth Street and the two
adjacent cross streets, Holloway and Grafton. On Thursdays from 8am-10am there is street cleaning restriction on the west side of Plymouth.
TRANSPORTATION: The
office is served directly by MUNI buses #29 which stops at Plymouth and Holloway
and #54 which stops at Plymouth and Grafton.
The #9X and #49 lines terminate at the bus turnaround 3 blocks from the office (#29 can be taken from there). The K streetcar stops on Ocean Ave.
at Miramar and the bus turnaround for a 3 block walk. Finally BART is very convenient by exiting at Balboa Park
and taking the #29 or #54 to the office.
